Aberrant Sexuality is dangerous to society and should not be a part of schools
Using the education system, its boards and policies, to promote lifestyle choices that have serious consequences, including physical and mental health problems, should not be tolerated.
Pure Michigan is a great slogan for our schools.
Problems . . .
a. The American College of Pediatricians has called the current proposed guidelines for “gender confusion policy” and bathroom policy child abuse. Mental illness issues should not be declared choices and then dictated to our students.
b. Federal mandates should be challenged at the local, state, and federal levels. The Executive branch practices policy it does not make it, especially for parents and students regarding sexuality.
c. Young students should not have to deal with this at all. Teachers should be protected from this issue as well. Adolescents should be reinforced in their biological sex and under their parent’s authority until adulthood.
And Solutions . . .
*If parents choose aberrancy for their children, let them pay for it in a private educational institution. The public is not to absorb every aberrancy.
*Anti‐bullying laws are on the books, and are a law enforcement issue NOT an educational issue.
*Proper disciplinary issues and expenses should be discussed and handled on the local level. State mandates (from federal and international bureaus) are intrusive into the personal psyche, familial order, and academic purpose.
